Steps To Make the Best Masala Chai With Brahmani Tea

The ingredients we need to make Kadak masala chai are listed below:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Brahmani Tea 
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, crushed
  • 4-5 green cardamom pods, crushed
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 1-2 black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)

Step 1: Take a saucepan with 2 cups of water and start heating it on a medium-high flame. 

 

Step 2: When the water comes to a simmer, use the mortar and pestle to crush the spices. Add spices like cloves, peppercorns, ginger, and cinnamon sticks. After adding the spices, add the cardamom at the end.

 

Step 3: The third step is to reduce the heat from medium-high to medium and let the water boil for 1-2 minutes.

 

Step 4: Once the flavour starts to boil and change colour, add 2 tablespoons of Brahmani tea leaves to the boiling water and spices. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes. This allows the tea leaves to infuse their strong flavour into the water.

 

Step 5: Pour 1 cup of milk and add 2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust according to your taste).


Step 6: Lastly, strain the chai into cups using a fine strainer to remove the tea leaves and spices. Serve hot and enjoy the robust and aromatic Kadak Masala Chai.
